The Pete Cornish Welfare Fund

In March 2009, a member of the team sadly passed away suddenly.  In memory of a much valued and greatly missed colleague, the SNAP welfare fund became 'The Pete Cornish Welfare Fund'.

The welfare fund was set up to assist service users in an emergency.  Each application is dealt with on a case by case basis and, on receiving a request from either the service user or their Support Worker, we may be able to make a small, one-off payment towards essential items such as gas, electricity or food.

In order to be able to offer this service, we rely on staff fundraising activities and contributions from organisations. If you would like to donate to this very worthy cause, please contact Claire Kent on 01473 742690.
